Abhishek Bachchan’s next is a Prabhudheva-directorial, titled ‘Lefty’

Abhishek Bachchan is all set for his next production venture, which will also see him in the lead role. The film titled ‘Lefty’ is a Prabhudheva directorial and is a story of a normal guy who turns into his city’s saviour.

Kona Venkat, the writer of Salman Khan-starrer ‘Ready’, is working on the screenplay of ‘Lefty’. Speaking about the same, Kona said, “I was signed by Abhishek three years ago. His friend heard a one-line narration from me in New York and told him about it. Abhishek asked me to come for a narration to his office. He loved the script. It’s a science fiction thriller, something like ‘Ghajini’ and is about an eccentric guy who is left-handed, just like Abhishek is in real life. Prabhudheva came on board this year.”

Kona adds, “Abhishek’s character doesn’t have super powers, but his character becomes powerful. He will build his body for the film as he needs to have a certain kind of body type for it.”

The film goes on floors next year.
