This actor might replace Fawad Khan in Salman Khan’s production ‘Jugalbandi’

We all know that now none of the Pakistani artistes will be able to work in India. Reportedly, earlier Fawad Khan was supposed to star in Salman Khan’s production venture ‘Jugalbandi’. The Pakistani heartthrob had replaced Saif Ali Khan in the film. However, later it was said that Fawad won’t be starring in ‘Jugalbandi’, but will be seen in another film to be produced by Salman Khan.

And now, there is a buzz that ‘Fitoor’ actor Aditya Roy Kapur will be replacing Fawad Khan in ‘Jugalbandi’.

A leading daily has quoted a source as saying, “Even before the film has gone on floors, ‘Jugalbandi’ is in the news for its lead actor. Earlier, Saif Ali Khan was slated to play the hero in this Salman Khan production, but he opted out. Then there was talk about Fawad Khan doing the role, but even that didn’t happen. Now, buzz is, Aditya Roy Kapur has been signed up for the film to be directed by Sameer Sharma.”

Fawad was later supposed to star in Salman’s other production venture which will be directed by Nitin Kakkar. Earlier, the director had quoted, “We go on floors with Fawad sometime next year. He is locked in. We are currently in the process of getting an actress on board. The film will roll early next year when Fawad’s dates are available. This is an urbane love story. But more than that, it’s an interesting take on relationships between a boy and a girl.”

However, after the Uri attack and Pakistani actors being banned in India, the director contradicted his statement. He said, “Fawad Kaun? I don’t know who is spreading these rumours.”

Well, now let’s see if ‘Jugalbandi’ will finally go on floors with Aditya or some other actor will replace him. And let’s wait and watch which actor will star in Nitin Kakkar’s film.

It looks like Salman Khan’s production ventures are facing quite a few problems.
