Actor Mukesh Rawal found dead on railway tracks

Veteran Bollywood and TV actor Mukesh Rawal, well-known for his role in TV series ‘Ramayana‘ was found dead on the railway tracks near Kandivali station on Tuesday morning.

Government Railway Police (GRP) officials revealed that it was a case of accident, as Rawal might have been crossing the tracks.

Around 9:30 am on Tuesday, the Kandivali station master informed the GRP about the incident and the actor was immediately taken to a nearby public hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.

His identity couldn’t be established by the doctors or police officials and while his family started inquiring about him at various hospitals, that they were directed to the body. His body was identified on the basis of his clothes.

The actor lived in Kandivali west and his demise has left his wife and two daughters, both married, bereaved.
