After sister Shaza, now actress Zoa Morani also tests positive for Covid-19; moved to isolation ICU

After Shaza, producer Karim Morani‘s other daughter Zoa Morani has also tested positive for Covid-19. Earlier today we had informed you how Zoa was hospitalised for having symptoms of Coronavirus. Now the latest reports confirm that she is Covid-19 positive.

The ‘Always Kabhi Kabhi’ actress is admitted in an Andheri hospital. Confirming the news, Zoa told Bombay Times, “I have tested positive. I have been moved to COVID-19 positive patient’s isolation ICU.”

Earlier in the day, it was reported that Zoa’s sister Shaza had tested positive for Covid-19. “I was the one showing the symptoms and that’s the reason my sister Shaza and I agreed to do the test. As a precaution, the doctors asked me to do the test again and so now I am in the hospital. They have put me under observation. There are other suspected COVID-19 patients here too. I was only allowed to carry limited stuff. I have got some books with me for company as nobody is allowed to meet us,” Zoa told the daily.

The actress’ producer father Karim had earlier informed that Shaza had returned from Sri Lanka in the first week of March, whereas Zoa had returned from Rajasthan on March 15.

Apart from acting, Zoa has also worked as an assistant director for films like ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Halla Bol’.
