On Sunday, Adah Sharma met with a road accident while travelling. As soon as the news of the accident got out, concerned fans and well-wishers started reaching out to Adah to check on her well-being. An overwhelmed actress took to social media to clear the air and give an update post that.

The actress took to her Instagram stories as well as Twitter and posted a note confirming that she is doing well. She wrote, “I’m fine guys . Getting a lot of messages because of the news circulating about our accident. The whole team ,all of us are fine, nothing serious , nothing major but thank you for the concern (sic)”.

Adah’s recent release The Kerala Story has emerged as one of the biggest successes not only for her but the entire Hindi film industry. The film has been embroiled in controversies ever since its teaser released. The film tells the story of Hindu women in Kerala who are converted to Islam and made to join ISIS. It is touted to be inspired by true events.

While The Kerala Story got banned in certain states including West Bengal, it has also been declared tax-free in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. The film has received polarising views but its collection is just growing exponentially. The Kerala Story has taken box office by storm and has already crossed Rs 100 crore domestically. Adah has even received death threats due to the sensitive subject of the film. The Kerala Story released on May 5, 2023 and is directed by Sudipto Sen.
