Adipurush makers decide to change objectionable dialogues in Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer

Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush released on Friday (16^th June). The Om Raut directorial received a mixed response from the audience. After the release of Adipurush, Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan’s fans showered them with love. On the other hand, a section of netizens called out Adipurush makers for the objectionable dialogues. Amid the backlash, Adipurush makers have now decided to make alterations to the film’s dialogues.

Adipurush makers to change the dialogues

T-Series’ official spokesperson shared a note that says, “Making this visual spectacle a memorable cinematic experience, the team decides to make alterations to the film’s dialogues – Valuing the input of the public and the audience.”

The note further added, “The makers are revisiting the said dialogues, ensuring to resonate with core essence of the film, and the same with reflect in the theatres in the next few days. This decision is a testament that inspite of unstoppable collections at the box office, the team is committed and noting is beyond the sentiments of their audiences and harmony at large.”

Adipurush’s dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir too took to his Twitter and addressed the trolling. He shared a lengthy note and assured netizens that the dialogues that hurt the sentiments of people will be revised.

Adipurush stars Prabhas as Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon as Janaki and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh. It also stars Sunny Singh as Shesh, and Devdatta Nage as Lord Bajrang.

Bollywood Bubble gave 2.5 stars to Adipurush. A part of the review read, “While Adipurush might not match up to a magnum opus level, it surely is a delight to watch on the 70 mm. The story might leave you not very strongly impacted, but it will sweetly touch your heart. For the performances, Saif and Kriti have given, this film deserves to be watched on a big screen.”
