Adipurush: Saif Ali Khan’s beard to be removed using VFX post backlash?

Prabhas and Kriti Sanon will be seen sharing screen space in the mythological drama Adipurush. The Om Raut directorial also features Saif Ali Khan. The movie has been hitting the headlines for the wrong reasons ever since the teaser release. Saif Ali Khan who plays Lankesh in the movie received backlash for his beard. Fans were also not happy with the VFX of the film.

Reportedly the makers have now decided to remove Saif Ali Khan’s beard digitally. They are also planning to spend a huge amount on reworking the VFX and also on the episodes of Vaanarasena

As reported by sources to ETimes, “The makers have decided to shave off Saif’s beard using VFX. The report added that the makers have decided to rework the VFX of the movie and also make necessary changes to the other characters in the film. They will also be correcting the episodes of Vaanarasena as some reports alleged that the scenes and shots are copied from Hollywood films like Aquaman and Game of Thrones.”

It is being said that about Rs 30 crore will have to be spent to make the necessary changes. Therefore to make the necessary changes the makers have postponed the release date of the movie. Adipurush will now release on June 16th, 2023.

Adipurush is all about, Raghava(Prabhas), who travels to Lanka with his sena which includes Laxman and Hanuman to rescue his wife Janaki(Kriti Sanon) from the clutches of Lankesh(Saif Ali Khan), who kidnapped her. The movie also features Sunny Singh and Devdatta Nage.
