The film Adipurush stands directed by Om Raut. Adipurush is an adaptation of the epic Ramayana. However, in order to depict it, the film did not receive much appreciation from the audience. Instead, it was heavily criticized with negative reviews. Adipurush also faced backlashes from the viewers over its dialogues and VFX. While the film’s dialogues were being negatively reviewed, the movie makers revamped certain dialogues. But, the film still couldn’t garner positive reviews.
The film stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh and Saif Ali Khan in prominent roles. Adipurush had a stellar start in the box office, however, the numbers started to fall gradually.
Amid the debacle of Adipurush receiving backlash, Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan started airing on TV again. This has left the netizens happy as the original depiction of Ramayan began its re-telecast from July 3. Arun Govil, Dipika Chiklia, Sunil Lahri, Arvind Trivedi and Dara Singh played prominent characters in the 40-year old famous TV series.
