With two Bollywood films and one Tamil flick by Mani Ratnam, Aditi Rao Hydari is looking forward to having a great 2017 ahead. She wrapped the schedule of her Tami debut and flew down to Mumbai for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ wherein she plays Kamla Devi, wife of Alauddin Khilji.
The magnum opus however has an ensemble cast. Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone will be essaying pivotal roles here. Wasn’t she fearful of being overshadowed when she gave her nod to the multi-starrer? She answered it during an interview with a leading daily.

“Once I want to do a film, I give it my 100 per cent to it. It’s 2017 and actors need to change their approach. It’s amazing to land an author-backed part, but I also wouldn’t think twice about taking up a multi-starrer with a great director,” says Aditi, who gives no two qualms about sharing screen-space with other actors.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt’s comeback vehicle ‘Bhoomi’ will have the actress as his daughter. After screening through a number of actresses, Dutt himself chose her, thanks to the soothing innocence that she carries.
Looking forward to her forthcoming releases!
