Aditya Narayan recalls when Shweta Agarwal and he were ‘gheraoed’ by media on way to their wedding venue

We recently had an interaction with newlywed Aditya Narayan where he spoke that media should understand the context in which statements are being made by celebs. He feels that public figures today have been made jokers by the media. Aditya said that he and his wife Shweta Agarwal are private people.

Aditya said, “This is my 26th year in the film and tv and music industries. I have seen lows also and many highs by the grace of God. And something I understand is that you cannot take yourself too seriously.”

While talking about his wedding, he called out a section of media who invaded the privacy on his wedding. “We had a very intimate wedding because of the Maharashtra govt guidelines. Each event was of 50-60 people and I very clearly remember we were getting down through the lift to go to the wedding venue. When we opened the lift, there were so many media people standing there and most of them had entered inside. My cousins and all requested them not to enter inside the building as it was a family affair. They also followed me in their bikes and gheraoed us from all directions and started taking videos whenever we stopped in any signal,” said Aditya.

He added, “Honestly, it’s like a circus sometimes. I feel like every public figure is a joker and I find it really funny as both of us are very private people.”
