Bhushan Kumar brings Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur for Thadam remake Gumraah

Any movie announcements leave the movie buffs all psyched and if two actors are coming together for the first time, the excitement level just increases a few notches. Speaking of which, actors Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur have now come together for a new film titled, Gumraah. The Hindi remake will be directed by debutant Vardhan Ketkar and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani. The film is said to be the remake of the Tamil movie, Thadam.

Reportedly, Aditya will be essaying a double role in the film. As per the reports, the second shooting schedule will commence in Mumbai today. Moreover, Ronit Roy will also be joining Aditya and Mrunal in Gumraah. Well, another remake in Bollywood is in the making and fans are quite excited to see this new film.

Apart from Thadam remake, there are several remakes of South movies that have been released in Bollywood before. The recent one to release is Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal starrer Jersey. It is also reported that Allu Arjun starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo will also be remade in Hindi with Kartik Aaryan. HIT is also going to be remade in Hindi with Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra in the lead.

Meanwhile, on their professional front, Mrunal is basking in praises for her role in the recently released film, Jersey with Shahid Kapoor. She has been starring in some intriguing films in the past. The actor will next be seen in Aankh Micholi, Pippa with Ishaan Khatter and South film, Sita Ramam.

Speaking about Aditya Roy Kapur’s filmography, the actor recently released the teaser of OM: The Battle Within. The action flick looks intense and high-octane. Aditya also has another remake of Night Manager.
