Aditya Roy Kapur BREAKS SILENCE on viral incident of fan trying to kiss him forcefully: I didn’t get too frazzled by it

A few days ago, Aditya Roy Kapur had attended the special screening of his latest show ‘The Night Manager’. It was then a female fan forcibly tried to kiss him on the cheek. Aditya managed to distance himself from his fan. Now, Aditya Roy Kapur has reacted to the incident.

The Night Manager actor stated that he understands her affection. He added that he did not ‘lose any sleep’ after the incident. Speaking with Indian Express, Aditya said, “To be honest, I didn’t get too frazzled by it. It was just something I had to handle it in the moment. She was strong, let’s put it like that, so I did have to handle it. But I can understand it.”

The actor added, “I don’t look at it from the eye where I’ll criticise it or say it’s wrong. I can understand it, that this person is feeling this affection and I guess that’s how she wanted to express it. At that moment, I just felt it needed to be handled. But I didn’t lose any over sleep over it or give it more thought than it needed.”

Aditya enjoys great popularity.

On the work front, Aditya recently delivered a terrific performance in The Night Manager. He essayed the role of Shaan Kapoor. For the uninitiated, The Night Manager is an official Indian remake of the hit British series by the same name. The British series starred Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie. In the Indian remake, Aditya stepped into the shoes of Tom Hiddleston whereas Anil Kapoor played Hugh Laurie’s part.

Aditya and Anil starrer The Night Manager is directed by Sandeep Modi and also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Saswata Chatterjee, Tillottama Shome, and Ravi Behl.

Bollywood Bubble gave The Night Manager 2.5 stars. A part of the review read, “Aditya Roy Kapur and Anil Kapoor starrer The Night Manager has an interesting concept however, the execution seems to be done poorly whereas the pace of the series can be a let-down.”

Aditya will be next seen in Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino with Sara Ali Khan.
