‘Malang’: Aditya Roy Kapur begins shoot for the Mohit Suri directorial

A few days back, the announcement of dark action thriller ‘Malang ‘ was made. The movie stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Disha Patani, Kunal Kemmu and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles. The movie has been directed by Mohit Suri. Today, Aditya has posted a picture of him and Mohit where they are seen performing puja. The actor captioned the pic as: “On a new journey with the man that changed it all for me.” The movie has gone on floors today.

Also on ‘Malang’s Twitter handle, a picture of a clapper board is posted announcing the shooting of the movie. The post was also retweeted by Kunal Kemmu and he wrote, “Om Namah Shivaay!!”.

Co-produced by Luv Films, T-Series and Northern Lights Entertainment, ‘Malang’ will hit the screens around Valentine’s Day next year.

Aditya made his debut with Mohit Suri’s ‘Aashiqui 2’ that made him an overnight sensation. While talking about the movie, Mohit earlier said in a statement, “With ‘Malang’, I am essentially returning to a genre I enjoy the most. It will be intense, edgy and mad. I hope ‘Malang’ is as thrilling and exciting an experience for the audience to see as much as it has already been for me.”
