Aditya Roy Kapur takes the mystery level a notch higher in Gumraah trailer

Aditya Roy Kapur is back with a new action-packed role in Gumraah. The movie also features Mrunal Thakur as a cop in this murder mystery. Ever since the makers shared the teaser of the film fans have been excitedly waiting for a new update. Now the trailer has added to the excitement as it features the Malang star in a double role.

The trailer begins with a gruesome murder committed by a man in a yellow raincoat. The video then transitions to Shivani Mathur (played by Mrunal Thakur) a police inspector and Ronit Roy her senior. They arrest Aditya Roy Kapur on charges of murder but are left stunned when they find that there are two suspects in the case and both are identical.

Gumraah is the Hindi remake of the 2019 Tamil hit Thadam with Arun Vijay and Vidya Pradeep. It is co-produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Krishan Kumar and Anjum Khetani under the banner of T-Series and Cine 1 Studios. Gumraah is slated to release in theatres on April 7.

On the work front, Aditya Roy Kapur was last seen in the web series ‘The Night Manager’. He played an ex-soldier and a hotel employee who is roped into taking down a notorious arms dealer.  Anil Kapoor and Sobhita Dhulipala were also pivotal parts of the series that garnered praise from fans and critics alike.

He also has Metro In Dino with Sara Ali Khan.  The movie is directed by Anurag Basu and also features Fatima Sana Shaikh and Pankaj Tripathi along with Anupam Kher.
