Aditya Roy Kapur is ready to showcase the skills of a painter by playing the character of Noor in Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Fitoor.’ The actor who will be seen portraying the role of a painter for the first time on-screen has been a muse in real life for none other than ‘painter’ Salman Khan.
Recently, Aditya went for the promotions of this romantic drama on the sets of the reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ hosted by Salman Khan. He had arrived here along with his co-star Katrina Kaif. As they were shooting for this episode, on the insist of the ‘Aashiqui 2’ star, Salman had sketched out a portrait of Katrina Kaif. This part was later edited out from the telecast. But seeing him painting, Aditya recalled the memories on the sets of his debut movie ‘London Dreams’ which starred Salman Khan in the lead role.
He said,”I have known Salman the painter since we did London Dreams together. When I saw him paint, it brought back those memories. During the days of London Dreams, after the shoot, we used to sit and chill together. That time he used to paint. He used to make me stand for hours to paint my portrait. If I would move, he would make me go back to my original position. I have been his muse on the sets.”
“But he is amazing. I have 2-3 portraits of mine that Salman has painted. He is the real painter unlike me who was a reel one,” added the actor.
Certainly, very few get the chance to be a muse for painter ‘Salman Khan.’ We must say, a lucky chance for Aditya!
‘Fitoor’ also stars Tabu and Aditi Rao Hydari in key roles. It is based on the classic novel ‘Great Expectations’ written by Charles Dickens and is slated to release on February 12, 2016.
Quiet, resonant, and creative, he can be seen immersed in his own world, and puts in his heart and soul into the one passion that he has, Bollywood. His line for survival? Feel happy to be a part of it.
