EXCLUSIVE: Aditya Seal narrates a funny incident when Anushka Ranjan’s friend asked him to not propose her

Aditya Seal and Anushka Ranjan tied the knot last year in a beautiful fairytale wedding in the presence of their friends and family. The couple had been dating for a while before they finally took the plunge. But did you know that Aditya Seal and Anushka Ranjan had quite an unusual love story as the actor was asked by his lady love’s friend to not propose to her? In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble on Chemistry 101, Aditya and Anushka revealed the hilarious incident and also unveiled deets about their romantic proposal.

Anushka told Bollywood Bubble, “He was way more sure about marriage.” Aditya revealed, ” Three months into the relationship I knew it.” Anushka continued, “Three months into the relationship he told my girlfriend that he wanted to propose to me. So we were in London for New Year, and literally, my girlfriend is like ‘are you sure you want to take a trip with him?’. He went and told her at some point that ‘I wanted to propose to her’. She came and told me ‘bro this is serious’. I was like ‘I hope you said No to him’.” The Student Of The Year 2 actor said, “She discouraged me and how. She was like ‘Are you mad! It’s been three months.’ I said I wasn’t thinking but you’re making me think and it’s not a good idea. I’ll hold back but I know for a fact this is it.”

But finally, the day came when Aditya made a romantic promise to his lady love, talking about the dreamy proposal, Anushka said, “It was the best, it was so sweet.” Anushka revealed that one day the couple just decided that they will be married from now on, official or not. Aditya also revealed that he did not have a ring at that moment, so he gave her his kada. Anushka further said, “In 2019 for my birthday we went to Paris and I had no clue about all of this. So we went out for my birthday, he booked a very nice lounge space. When we came back my gifts were laid out which was a jacket with my dog Buster hand-painted on the back and the front was me and Miha who is my current dog. I started crying ‘This is so sweet’. Then he showed me his iPad and said that ‘I made you a video’. At that point, he had not met anyone in my extended family. He managed to get everyone on camera to say something for me. So I am lying down and crying.” Aditya said in the last clip of the birthday video, “I have a lot of things to say but I don’t have the words. So why don’t you just turn around.”

Ranjan continued, “And I turned around and he was sitting there with a ring. He was holding the ring and crying. It was a promise ring and he said I promise you to keep you happy. Then the next day we got up and went to Disneyland. It was literally like what you saw in movies. It was so dreamy. It was the perfect location. However, cliche it sounds I don’t care.” Talking about preparing for the proposal, “My sister and mother knew it”, Aditya said, “I went with my sister to design the ring because we thought of getting the promise ring made in the infinity sign. Paris was the first time for me so I had no idea what to do. I was googling the best restaurants and everything.”
