Aftab Shivdasani ‘happy’ and ‘relieved’ on being tested Covid-19 negative

Aftab Shivdasani who had tested Covid-19 positive a few days back had now tested negative. The actor took to his Instagram handle to share the news. He is ‘happy’ and ‘relieved’ to share the news. In his post, he has thanked everyone for their support and good wishes.

Also, he requested to maintain social distancing and urged to use mask and sanitisers until the pandemic is over.

His post read: “I am very happy and relieved to be sharing with all of you that I did my Covid test again and by the grace of God, the reports came negative. Thank you all for your support and good wishes.”

“I once again humbly request and reiterate the importance of maintaining social distance, using masks and sanitisers until the pandemic is over,” it further read.

Earlier, taking to social media, Aftab shared he tested Covid-positive. The note read, “Hello everyone, hope you all are fit and fine and are taking care of yourselves. Recently I started showing minor symptoms of a dry cough and a mild fever and I got myself tested for COVID-19. Unfortunately, the results came out positive and under the medical supervision of doctors and the authorities, I have been advised home quarantine. I request all those who may have come in contact with me recently to please get yourself tested just to be safe.”
