It wouldn’t be wrong in saying that China has become a big market for Indian films. Superstars Aamir Khan and Salman Khan have already made their debut at the Chinese box office with their films ‘Dangal’, ‘Secret Superstar’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ respectively and have emerged with shinning colours.
And now after this exceptional success delivered by them, there’s one more Bollywood star who is all set to to debut in China. No points for guessing, it is actor Irrfan Khan whose film ‘Hindi Medium’ will be hitting the big screens in China. The film’s producers T-Series took to their Instagram account to share this good news along with the release date and the movie’s poster in Chinese language. The film is slated to hit the screens there on April 4, 2018. (Also Read: Hindi Medium 2: Irrfan-starrer sequel gets a new director, Homi comes on board)

Producer Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films has said in his statement, “This is exactly what made ‘Hindi Medium’ so significant. The idea that we give importance to material wealth and our social image over the value of humanness and love baffles me, but sadly it’s what drives most of society and portraying this in a light yet meaningful form is what resonates with audiences universally.”
Isn’t that a great news?
Following its success, the makers are all set to bring a sequel as well with Irrfan Khan playing the lead role again.
Directed by Saket Chaudhary, ‘Hindi Medium’ featured Pakistani actress Saba Qamar and Deepak Dobriyal playing pivotal roles.
