Salman Khan is currently busy with the shooting of his upcoming Eid release ‘Bharat’. The film is a Bollywood remake of the Korean film, ‘Ode To My Father’. The rights of the film were sold to Atul Agnihotri’s Reel Life Productions by CJ Entertainment. Now, the same company has sold the rights of another Korean blockbuster, ‘Veteran’, to Reel Life Productions.
Reports suggest that Salman Khan has already given the green light for the project whereas the rest of the cast and crew is still being decided. Pretty soon, the makers will come up with an official announcement.
The Korean film starred Hwang Jung-min and Yoo Ah-in. The story of the film revolves around a veteran detective who encounters an arrogant young millionaire in the course of investigating a high-profile case. Despite his team’s relentless pursuit, he finds out that the millionaire manages constantly to evade criminal prosecution with his wealth and connections. Will the veteran detective be able to bring the millionaire to justice? Well, for that you will have to watch the movie.
Salman’s ‘Bharat‘ is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who also directed him before in ‘Sultan’ (2016) and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ (2017). Will Ali get a fourth chance to direct Salman? Also, after not being able to be a part of ‘Bharat’ because of her wedding, will Priyanka Chopra make a grand comeback to Salman’s camp with the ‘Veteran’ remake? Hopefully, all this will get answered once the makers of the film go ahead and give the official announcement.
