After Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan roped in for a key role in Brahmastra 2?

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva is finally hitting theatres on 9th September.  Well, even before part one has been released, news of the next film has already begun doing the rounds. Rumours abound that Deepika Padukone is all set to be a part of Brahmastra 2.  Not only Deepika but apparently the makers have also roped in Hrithik Roshan for Brahmastra 2.

As per Bollywood Hungama reports, Deepika Padukone will play the role of Parvathy. While Hrithik Roshan has been offered the role of MahaDev.

The second part of Brahmstra revolves around MahaDev and Parvathy. Reportedly a month back, Ayan Mukerji had made a swift visit to Hrithik Roshan’s house. He had offered him the role of MahaDev.

As reported by sources to Bollywood Hungama, “The character of MahaDev requires a certain aura, which comes naturally to Hrithik. He is obviously the first choice for this modern mythology, however, Ayan and co. are yet to hear back from Hrithik. He has loved the character and the world of Ayan, and is expected to make an informed decision soon on his involvement in the film.”

The Ayan Mukerji directorial also features Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is also a part of the fantasy adventure drama, albeit in a cameo.

On the work front, Hrithik Roshan has Fighter with Deepika Padukone. He also has Vikram Vedha with Saif Ali Khan.  He will also be seen in  Krrish 4, War 2 and Ramayana.

The actor is also in news for his alleged affair with Saba Azad The Lovebirds were spotted back in the city post their romantic vacay in UK and Paris.
