After Katrina Kaif and Rashmika Mandanna, Alia Bhatt becomes the new target for Deepfake video

Deepfake has become quite dangerous as people are misusing it now. Netizens are using Bollywood celebs’ photos and making some obscene pictures and videos. Earlier, Rashmika Mandanna, Katrina Kaif and Kajol fell prey to the Deepfake video. Now, the latest one to become a victim of AI Deepfake is Alia Bhatt. We recently came across a few pictures on social media where Alia Bhatt’s face was plastered on a bold video.

In the video, the lady is seen wearing a blue floral dress and doing some obscene gestures. However, it is easily visible that Alia’s photo has been morphed on the lady’s body. For obvious reasons, the deepfake video of Alia Bhatt is going viral on social media. As Bollywood celebs are becoming the targets of Deepfake, there are some who are slamming the AI app for the same. Though Katrina and Kajol have not reacted to the viral pictures, the Animal star Rashmika Mandanna has strongly reacted on the viral deepfake video.

Rashmika Mandanna reacts to her deepfake video

Taking to her social media, Rashmika penned how scared she is because of such an instance. She wrote, “I feel really hurt to share this and have to talk about the deepfake video of me being spread online. Something like this is honestly, extremely scary not only for me. But also for each one of us who today is vulnerable to so much harm because of how technology is being misused. Today, as a woman and as an actor, I am thankful for my family, friends and well-wishers who are my protection and support system.“

She further stated the need to address this and share, “But if this happened to me when I was in school or college, I genuinely can’t imagine how could I ever tackle this. We need to address this as a community and with urgency before more of us are affected by such identity theft.”
