About Rashmika Mandanna and Katrina Kaif deepfake video
Talking about Rashmika’s video, the actress was seen entering a lift wearing a revealing outfit. The original video featured Zara Patel. However, she was not involved in creation. A few days back, during investigation in her case after she strongly reacted, a 19-year-old boy was suspected and questioned. In Katrina Kaif’s case, a digitally altered image of the actress from her upcoming film ‘Tiger 3’ surfaced online. While the original picture showed the Bollywood star fighting a stuntwoman clad in a towel, the edited version showed her wearing a low-cut white top and a matching bottom instead of the towel.
Katrina Kaif's towel scene from Tiger 3 gets morphed. Deepfake picture is garnering attention and it's really shameful. AI is a great tool but using it to morph women is outright criminal offence.
