After Neha Dhupia, now Soha Ali Khan shares her breastfeeding story

Neha Dhupia had taken the internet by storm with her video on breastfeeding for International Breastfeeding Week. She also created quite a stir when she unfollowed Soha Ali Khan on Instagram. It led to rumours that the two have had a tiff and aren’t on talking terms.

Soha and Neha both shut down the rumours by posting videos on their respective social media handles. Addressing the rumours, they said that they aren’t having any issues and that they simply unfollowed each other for a campaign by Vodafone.

Later in the day, Soha showed her support for Neha by posting another video in ode to International Breastfeeding Week. She said that she was encouraged by Neha’s video on breastfeeding. She called her experience of breastfeeding very humbling. She also said that it was very tiring and frustrating at times. Referring to Neha’s airplane incident, she said, “Yes I have pumped on an airplane bathroom, where the seatbelts sign came on and I had to hurriedly dismantle everything.”

She said that breastfeeding shouldn’t be considered a taboo topic to discuss. After all, it is something so valuable, scientific and incredible. She also addressed that she doesn’t see why women are frowned upon when they breastfeed in public when there are so few facilities available.
