The ‘Padmaavat’ debate isn’t even over yet. After the Mumbai section of the organisation stated they didn’t find anything objectionable in the film, a few members were reportedly suspended.

As a Brahmin outfit found Rani Laxmibai’s portrayal to be ‘indecent’ in Kangana Ranaut’s ongoing film ‘Manikarnika’, they have threataned protests. Karni Sena members have been lending active support on the same.

Agar Brahmin ka khoon bahega to Rajput kya chup rahega, jab Rajput ka khoon baha to Brahmin kabhi chup nahi haha (Rajputs will never keep quiet if Brahmins are affected, and vice versa),” said Lokendra Singh, founder of Shree Rajput Karni Sena.

He also claimed that they received a letter supporting their protest against ‘Padmaavat’ which was signed with blood from 10,000 Brahmins.

“The movie’s shooting has been going on in Rajasthan for some time and we have come to know that there are some scenes, including a song, that show her as having a love affair with an Englishman,” Suresh Misra, founder president of Sarv Brahmin Mahasabha , had earlier stated to Indian Express.

Beginning of another chaos, is it?
