After Paris attacks, French embassy cancels felicitation of Tamasha makers

France being one of the most favourite locations of B-towners, a lot of films have been shot there including the upcoming Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer Tamasha. Remember the famous dialogue from Tamasha trailer, “What happens in Corsica stays in Corsica”?

The major chunk of this film has been shot in Corsica which belongs to France. Time and again we came across pictures of Ranbir, Deepika exploring beautiful Corsica along with the other crew members while shooting for the film.

Therefore, the French embassy decided to felicitate director Imtiaz Ali and producer Sajid Nadiadwala for capturing scenic locations of Corsica in the film.

The event was supposed to take place in New Delhi but unfortunately the French embassy planned to cancel this felicitation program following the recent terrorist attacks in Paris. In this event makers of ‘Tamasha’ were supposed to be honoured as the film being shot in Corsica, France would prove fruitful in boasting the tourism of the country.

The recent terrorist attacks in Paris left everyone in tears and the team of ‘Tamasha’ stands with the decision of French embassy says the source. The movie is set to release on November 27, 2015.
