After ‘Raazi’ Karan Johar signs Vicky Kaushal for a horror film!

Fresh from the success of his last film ‘Raazi’ power-house performer Vicky Kaushal is enjoying appreciations from the critics as well as the audience. Vicky charmed everyone with his nuanced performance as Sehmat’s husband Iqbal Syed in espionage thriller ‘Raazi’ which was produced by Junglee Pictures and Dharma Productions.

If reports are to be believed the actor is now all set to feature in a horror flick for the first time. Produced under the banner of Dharma productions the film will mark the directorial debut of Bhanu Pratap Singh.

A source close to the development told Mumbai Mirror, “It’s a horror film, a genre Vicky has never attempted before. The film will also be the launchpad for Dhadak director Shashank Khaitan’s assistant Bhanu Pratap Singh who has worked with him on ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ and ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’. Looks like filmmaker Karan Johar is impressed by Vicky’s last performance. Well, we are more than happy about this development as watching Vicky in a horror film will be a new experience for the viewers as well.
