Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni aka Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been grabbing the headlines ever since he did a makeover. He opted for a new hair colour and went for a 90s look and the internet flipped. Amidst his new makeover, actor Ram Charan posted a picture with him and the internet couldn’t keep calm. He shared a picture on Wednesday with MS Dhoni, now, Ranveer Singh got a chance to meet the GOAT cricketer.

On Thursday, Ranveer took to his Instagram account and dropped some new photos with Dhoni while showering love for him. In the first picture, the Padmaavat actor was seen posing with Dhoni, flashing a happy smile. While in the second pic, he was seen planting a sweet kiss on his cheeks. Sharing the pictures on social media, Ranveer wrote, “Mera Mahi @mahi7781 #hero #icon #legend #goat #bigbrother.”

When Ranveer Singh expressed his love for Mahi

This is not the first time he has shared photos with Mahi or expressed his love for him. A day after the former India captain MS Dhoni announced his international retirement, Ranveer Singh posted a few throwbacks.

He penned a long note and a part of it read, “This little gem of a photo is one of my prized possessions. It was taken around the year 2007/08 at ND Studio in Karjat. I was about 22 years old, working as an assistant director. I took up this particular job only because the ad film featured the one & only MS Dhoni, I was overworked and underpaid, but I didn’t care- I just wanted to be in His presence.“

He further said, “I was even injured at the time, but I worked through the pain in the hope that as a reward for my sincere efforts, I would be granted a chance to briefly meet MSD and maybe get a photo with him. When I finally met him, I was completely awestruck. He was so humble, so down-to-earth, full of grace and exuded an unmistakable aura of kindness. My love, respect and reverence for him grew even stronger.“

The Simmba actor also said, “MSD is one of the greatest sportsmen to have ever lived. I’m lucky to have witnessed his playing career in my lifetime. A paragon of excellence. An icon of the sport. My hero forever. Thank you Mahi Bhai for bringing glory to our great nation and filling a billion hearts with pride. ?? #MSD the #GOAT.“
