After Shaitaan, Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan to lock horns in De De Pyaar De 2?

Actors Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan are coming together yet again for De De Pyaar De 2 after starring in Shaitaan. After the horrifying face-off, the two are coming back to lock horns again in the upcoming movie De De Pyaar De 2. According to a report in Pinkvilla, the source claimed that director Luv Ranjan and the team have roped in R Madhavan to play a key role in De De Pyaar De 2.

Ajay and Madhavan to team up in De De Pyaar De sequel

“Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan had a horrific face-off in Shaitaan. Now, come 2025, the duo will again lock horns in De De Pyaar De 2. However, this time around, their on-screen chemistry will have a complete makeover, as the face-off will have a lot of comic undertones.”

According to the source, Madhavan is also seeing De De Pyaar De 2 as a welcome change in his intense filmography. “Madhavan has not delved into a light-hearted rom-com since the Tanu Weds Manu Franchise. He readily embraced the opportunity to come on board DDPD 2. The makers are bringing in fresh energy to the film. Both the leading men are excited for this face-off in the sequel to the 2018 romantic comedy,” the source added.

De De Pyaar De 2 movie announcement

In March, T-Series and Luv Films confirmed De De Pyaar sequel on Instagram. Sharing an official note, they wrote, “De De Pyaar De 2 will release on 1st May 2025. The film is directed by @anshul3112, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Luv Ranjan & @gargankur82. Written by @tarun.j.85 & Luv Ranjan.” The movie

Directed by Anshul Sharma, the film will go on floors in June 2024. DDPD2 is produced by T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar and Luv Films’ Luv Ranjan & Ankur Garg. The first part was written by Luv Ranjan and directed by Akiv Ali who made his directorial debut.
