After Shershaah, Sidharth Malhotra leaves audiences excited to see his never-seen-before avatar in Mission Majnu

Actor Sidharth Malhotra is all set to entertain the audiences with his upcoming film, Mission Majnu. He is playing a spy in the thriller. The movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna opposite him. In 2021, Sidharth gave a stellar performance as a soldier in Shershaah. He was lauded by critics as well as the audience for his exceptional performance in the film. Now, audiences are excited to see him in a different avatar in Mission Majnu. The teaser as well as the love song Rabba Janda have created a lots of buzz among his fans and they are eagerly waiting for the film to release on OTT.

The makers and the cast are leaving no stone unturned to make Mission Majnu a huge success. The first song, Rabba Janda that is a romantic track is already everyone’s favourite. Fans are excited to see Sidharth and Rashmika’s on-screen chemistry. The song features Sidharth Malhotra as Tariq who falls in love with Rashmika Mandanna who plays Nasreen. The romantic ballad shows their love blooming and towards the end of the song we see both getting married. The song has been composed by Tanishk Bagchi and crooned by Jubin Nautiyal.

Mission Majnu is set in the 1970s and is “inspired by real events”. Sidharth will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar. He is playing a RAW agent, who is assigned to complete India’s “deadliest covert operation” in Pakistan. The teaser of the film was released last year in December.

The film is directed by Shantanu Bagchi and produced by Ronnie Screwala, Garima Mehta and Amar Butala. It will release on Netflix on January 20.
