Comedian Sunil Pal’s kidnapping has shocked us all and all his fans are now in relief that the actor has returned home safe. While sharing details about his incident, the talented comedian also recalled a similar incident that happened with his friend and actor, Mushtaq Khan.
Sunil Pal spilled the beans on Mushtaq Khan’s kidnapping
Speaking to Bollywood Bubble he shared a similar case happened with one of his friends and actor Mushtaq Khan, six months before. “Aaisa hi same kisa mere dost Mushtaq Khan ke sath hua hai election day pe. After voting he went for the show and was kidnapped. However, he escaped after listening to an azaan sound while he was kidnapped and everyone was drunk and he managed to escape. He told him, that he sealed all his account posts however, one was left toh usme se 2k rupe nikal liye the,” he stated.
Mushtaq Khan paid Rs 2 lakh ransom to kidnappers
Now, as per the latest update, Mushtaq’s business partner, Shivam Yadav has shared some details with India Today regarding the kidnapping. He recounted that it all started with an invite for an award show in Meerut on November 20. He was given an advance payment and flight tickets as part of the arrangement. Upon landing in Delhi, he was asked to step into a car, which drove him to the outskirts of the city, near Bijnor.
Talking about the incident, Shivam said, “The alleged kidnappers tortured Khan for almost 12 hours and demanded a crore as ransom. They eventually took more than Rs 2 lakh from the actor and his son’s account. Early in the morning, when Khan heard the morning azaan, he realised a mosque would be close by and ran away from the place. He sought help from the people there and, with the help of the police, returned home.”
He also revealed that after this incident they had filed an FIR, and said, “Yesterday, I went to Bijnor and filed an official FIR. We have proof of the flight ticket, the bank accounts and even CCTV footage near the airport. He also recognises the neighbourhood, even the house where he was kept. I think the police team will surely get the culprits soon,” Shivam concluded.
