After Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif tests COVID positive; says, ‘I’ve immediately isolated myself’

The Coronavirus spike is alarming. In the last few days, a number of B-town celebs have tested positive for the deadly virus. On Sunday, Akshay Kumar shared that he has tested positive for Covid-19. On Monday Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar tested positive for the virus and now Katrina Kaif has contracted it too.

Confirming the news, the Sooryavanshi actress took to her Instagram stories and shared her health update.

In her post, Katrina wrote, “I have tested positive for Covid-19. Have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I am following all safety protocols advised by my doctors. Requesting everyone who came in contact with me to get tested immediately too. Grateful for all your love and support. Please stay safe and take care. “

Yesterday, informing everyone about his Covid diagnosis, Katrina’s rumoured boyfriend Vicky had posted, “In spite of all care and precautions, unfortunately, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all essential protocols, I am under home quarantine, taking medication as prescribed by my doctor. I request all those who came in contact with me to immediately get tested. Take care and stay safe(sic).”

On Sunday, Katrina’s Sooryavanshi co-star Akshay Kumar also shared that he has contracted the virus. Akshay was even hospitalised as a precautionary measure following the doctor’s advice. Katrina and Akshay’s Sooryavanshi which has scheduled to release on April 30 has been postponed again owing to the surge in Covid cases in Maharashtra.

In the recent few weeks, actors like Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Seema Pahwa, Govinda and singer Abhijeet Sawant have been infected by the deadly virus.
