Age is just a number for Madhuri Dixit

Bollywood’s Dancing Diva turns a year older. Madhuri Dixit who turned 48 today says she is not bothered about it. As for her age is just a number. Madhuri will be celebrating her birthday with her family. She is also happy about launching her mobile app ‘Dance with Madhuri’.

Madhuri said, “Age is just a number for me. It doesn’t scare me. It doesn’t stop me from doing anything. I feel talent is timeless and I believe in it. The year has gone really well. I am thankful to my family, friends and my fans for their love and support. I got my birthday gift day before yesterday (May 13) as we launched ‘Dance with Madhuri’ Version 2 and a mobile app for the same. It’s my wish to take dance at every doorstep. Through this we are trying to give the best to everyone.”

Madhuri further added that, “the most memorable birthday gifts are the ones that I get from my two sons. The birthday cards that they make for me are special. Besides that, I remember when they were like four-six years old, they went out with their dad and brought a beautiful bracelet for me.”

Born on May 15, 1967, Madhuri entered the film industry in 1984. She was honoured with Padma Shri in 2008, for her contribution to Indian cinema.
