The recreated version of the iconic number ‘Ek Do Teen’ from ‘Tezaab’ that had Madhuri Dixit delivering one of the most top-notch dance performances of Hindi cinema ever, has received mixed response. Many believe Jacqueline Fernandez’ performance wasn’t anywhere close to the original one. (Also Read: “I’m so happy and proud”, Saroj Khan finally breaks silence over Jacqueline’s ‘Ek Do Teen’)

Some reports also stated that the track miffed Saroj Khan who had choreographed Madhuri’s moves in the original track. Following this, Khan issued a statement calling such rumours untrue.
‘Baaghi 2′ director Ahmed Khan however says he was ready for such criticism since the time he decided to rework on the song, adding that he didn’t interfere with the choreography and left it to Ganesh Acharya, although he is a choreographer himself.

When asked whether he has received a reaction from Madhuri Dixit on the song, Ahmed says it is entirely the actress’ choice to speak or not speak on the same.
“Giving a feedback is her choice. I have nothing to say on that. We have done the song, bought the rights and in a legal way,” he said.
Soon after Jacqueline started receiving backlashes, her ‘race 3’ co-star Salman Khan took to Twitter and showered praises on her for pulling it off well.
Wonder what Madhuri has to say about the entire episode!
