Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan’s unseen wedding pictures are pure gold

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan’s wedding was a grand wedding. From decorations to costumes to jewellery, everything was grand and lavish. The costumes for the wedding were designed by ace designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. Yesterday, they shared a series of throwback pics from the sangeet ceremony as they completed 33 years of their designer label.

The first post they shared is from Aishwarya and Abhishek’ sangeet. Abhishek wore a blue silver brocade short sherwani and Aishwarya donned an embroidered pastel silk ghagra set. In the second pic, Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan are seen dancing.

Here are the excerpts of the post that read: “Abhishek looks princely as ever and Aishwarya remains reminiscent of a goddess in all her bridal glory. The wedding was an epitome of glamour and grace and the memory of it remains fresh in our hearts.”

In the second post, we get a glimpse of Jaya Bachchan performing some wedding rituals before the baaraat. Towards the end of the post, the designers wrote, “Mothers often come to Abu Sandeep with a picture of this ensemble, wanting their sons to wear an identical Sherwani for their big day.”

The last post has a picture of Shweta, Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan greeting their guests. Shweta and Amitabh were seen dancing in the baaraat.
