With the increase in the number of biopics being made on great personalities, be it on actor Sanjay Dutt or our former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh himself, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan too, wishes to explore the same section of cinema. In a recent interview with DNA, Aishwarya got candid and spoke at length about her wish and belief of a biopic to be made on her life in future.
The former Miss World feels that she should never be able to pen her life’s journey but would entrust a writer and help him/her while working it out. Reasoning more about the same, the ‘Fanney Khan’ actress said, “I haven’t thought about it, although it’s been mentioned a few times. Maybe I’m a bit shy to react to that, but yes, at some point, I would like to explore it. However, I’m not sure if I should be penning a book about myself. While I’ll entrust the writer, he or she still needs to understand the way I speak. Sometimes, when I listen to myself talking, I tend to slip into something philosophical and keep going into these different realms. So will all that get translated? That’s just one concern I have.”
Aware of the fact that the digital platforms have taken over our lives by storm, Aish, knows that some or the other day her life would get documented. Adding on to her point, the actress continued saying, “It’s important to share your story as it is. Maybe, I’d rather have it closer to reality than otherwise. People are finding different ways of doing it. There are blogs, books, films, and so many other avenues. I will think about it at some point for sure, because if my life makes for a great story to tell or watch on screen, why not! But right now, there are no such concrete discussions.”
This only means that we will be able to witness the life of the epitome of beauty on the silver screen anytime soon. We are too eager for the same, what about you?
