In pics: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Janhvi Kapoor turn heads at WIFT Awards

We had informed you earlier that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, filmmaker Zoya Akhtar and newbie Janhvi Kapoor will be honoured at the inaugural Meryl Streep Award for Excellence at the first Women in Film and Television (WIFT) India Awards, and today, pictures from the event have surfaced on social media.

At the award function that took place in Washington DC yesterday, without a doubt Aishwarya looked drop dead gorgeous in her black and gold dress by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. Whereas Janhvi looked ravishing in her pink tube knee length dress. In a few pictures shared by the fan club of these actresses, both Janhvi and Aishwarya were seen interacting at the function. Aishwarya was even accompanied by her adorable daughter Aaradhya and mother Vrinda.
