The entire country is mourning the death of former Prime Minister of India, Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who passed away on August 16 last week. The former PM was one of those rare politicians who was respected amongst all the political parties.
Paying her tribute to the iconic leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee, actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan took to her Instagram handle and shared some rare throwback pictures of the leader in which she can also be seen along with late veteran actress Sridevi.
Aishwarya simply captioned those pictures as, “✨?Respect ?✨Rest In Peace?✨”.

Reportedly Aishwarya met the then Prime Minister in 2000. From the pictures, we can say that the late Prime Minister was a very lively man known for his great sense of humour.

93-year-old, Atal Bihari Vajpayee died at the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) after suffering from prolonged illness. He was cremated with full state honour at Smriti Sthal in New Delhi on August 17, 2018.
