Ajay and Ileana’s ‘Raid’ now has a release date

Ajay Devgn is on a film-spree. Just yesterday, we learnt about the release date of his romantic comedy helmed by Luv Ranjan, where he will be reuniting with Tabu. Meanwhile, another film that has been in the news for quite some time now, is set to arrive earlier than its previous schedule.

Titled ‘Raid’ and starring Ileana D’Cruz opposite Ajay, the film is set to hit screens on March 16, 2018. “RAID starring @ajaydevgn & @Ileana_Official will now arrive earlier in cinemas on March 16, 2018,” the production house wrote on their official Twitter handle. Ajay and Ileana’s last outing ‘Baadshaho’ failed to impress the critics and was average at box office. With ‘Raid’, this might change!

The film is helmed by Raj Kumar Gupta and has Ajay playing an income tax officer. It is reportedly based on a famous income tax raid in UP and has been inspired by true events.

Gupta in the past has made films like ‘No One Killed Jessica’ and ‘Aamir’ and is prodicient in bringing life to stories with fair share of darkness.
