Ajay Devgn reveals the secret behind how he and Akshay Kumar did 10 films a year

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn is a man of few words and doesn’t like to blow his own trumpet. He believes in letting his work do all the talking. Ajay is close to spending three decades in the industry and is awaiting his next release ‘De De Pyaar De’. The ‘Singham’ actor appeared on Kapil Sharma’s show and shared quite a few things.

Ajay was asked about how he could do so many movies in a year while his contemporaries, the Khans i.e. Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir managed only a couple of movies. Ajay said that not just him, but also Akshay Kumar used to shoot for 10 films every year and the credit for it goes to their Punjabi genes. Ajay revealed the secret and said they are used to eating a lot of desi food with pure ghee from childhood, which made them extremely efficient.

The ‘Gangaajal’ actor also said that he only used to wear one jeans to reduce shoot time. And would change his shirt depending on the theme and sequences of the film.

In the last two years, Ajay Devgn has been a part of seven films while Akshay Kumar has made seven films as well. On the other hand, Aamir Khan made two films in two years, Shah Rukh Khan made three films and Salman Khan made four.

Coming back to ‘De De Pyaar De’, it also features Rakul Preet and Tabu in lead roles. The Akiv Ali directorial is hitting the screens on May 17, 2019.
