Ajay Devgn, Tabu announce Drishyam 2 release date, is set to clash with Rajkummar Rao starrer

Actors Ajay Devgn and Tabu have taken to their Instagram accounts to make an announcement on the Drishyam 2 release date. The first part of the film garnered utmost appreciation from the fans and now, the makers are all set to bring the second instalment this November. Yes, you read that right. Ajay and Tabu have announced that Drishyam 2 will release on November 18 in the cinemas.

With Drishyam 2 release date, Ajay and Tabu shared a poster which has nothing but the movie’s name and the release date. The Runway 34 actor wrote, “Attention! #Drishyam 2 releasing in theatres on 18th November 2022” while Tabu who essays the role of a cop captioned the poster with, “#Drishyam 2 releasing in theatres on 18th November 2022.”

Having said that, it seems like Ajay will be clashing with Rajkummar Rao at the box office. Rajkummar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Bheed is also scheduled to release on November 18. Now, it is to be seen if the makers of the latter decide to change the release date to avert the clash or otherwise.

In February, Ajay shared a BTS photo with his co-star Shriya Saran and the director of the film, announcing that he kick-started his shoot. He wrote, “Can Vijay protect his family again? #Drishyam2 shoot begins.”

Drishyam (2015) was helmed by late director Nishikant Kamat. The film is a remake of the 2013 Malayalam-language film of the same name. Whereas Drishyam 2 is directed by Abhishek Pathak.
