Ajay Devgn’s 2024 schedule is packed with high-profile projects. He began the year with ‘Shaitaan’, which became the highest-grossing Indian horror film ever. Following this, he portrayed Syed Abdul Rahim in the biographical sports drama ‘Maidaan’. Ajay Devgn alongside Tabu will next appear in Neeraj Pandey’s romantic thriller ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’. Recently, it was announced that the release date for this film has been changed. Initially set to release on July 5, 2024, the film will now hit theatres on July 26, 2024.

This change was shared by Devgn on his Instagram stories, where he reposted an official announcement from Friday Filmworks.

The production team explained the delay in an official post, stating, “Dear friends, on request of the exhibitors and the distribution fraternity, we have collectively decided to shift the release date of our film, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. New release date to be announced soon.” Fans are now eagerly awaiting the new official release date.

Speculations add that Neerja Pandey’s upcoming has been postponed due to it’s clash with Lakshya and Raghav Juyal starrer KILL. Both the movies were to be released on the same date, 5th of July.

Despite the postponement, the film’s trailer has already been released, generating curiosity among movie enthusiasts. The cast includes Tabu, Jimmy Sheirgill, Shantanu Maheshwari, and Saiee Manjrekar in pivotal roles. The film’s soundtracks, including ‘Tuu and ‘Ae Dil Zara’, have also been unveiled.

Ajay Devgn and Tabu have a history of successful collaborations, having co-starred in films like ‘Vijaypath’, ‘Haqeeqat’, ‘Thakshak’, ‘Drishyam’, ‘Golmaal Again’, ‘De De Pyaar De’, ‘Drishyam 2’, and ‘Bholaa’.
