Ajay Devgn finds his new leading lady in Vaani Kapoor for Raid 2

The New Year began on a joyous note for the fans of Ajay Devgn as he announced his return as IRS Ajay Patnaik for Raid 2. And now, the actor has found his new heroine for the same. Joining the list of fresh pairings in 2024, Ajay Devgn has found his new leading lady in Vaani Kapoor for Raid 2.

Ajay Devgn to star opposite Vaani Kapoor in Raid 2

Vaani has given some solid performances in films like Shudh Desi Romance, WAR and Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui. Now the gorgeous young actress is again set to sizzle the big screen with her fresh chemistry with Ajay Devgn. Raid 2 is a sequel to Ajay’s 2018 film. In the first part, Ileana D’Cruz starred opposite the actor, playing his supportive wife.

Touted to be one of the most awaited sequel, the film has gone on floors on 6th January in Mumbai. It brings together director Rajkumar Gupta and producers Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar. The film’s mahurat shot took place in the presence of South superstar Ravi Teja. Ajay had thanked him for his presence by sharing pictures from the sets on social media.

The shooting of Raid 2 will take place extensively in Mumbai, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar are the producers of the film. Gulshan Kumar and T-Series are presenting it and the film is a Panorama Studios production. Raid 2 has a theatrical release date of 15th November 2024.
