Ajay Devgn gets injured during a fight scene in Singham Again

Getting injuries on a movie set is part and parcel of shooting. Speaking about the same, the latest report suggests that actor Ajay Devgn injured himself while shooting an action sequence for his upcoming movie, Singham Again. According to a report by Mid-Day, Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty were shooting for an important action sequence at the Golden Tobacco Factory in Vile Parle, Mumbai. Unfortunately, he suffered an eye injury when the choreography went out of hand.

“Rohit was filming a combat scene that had Ajay taking on the baddies. A move landed incorrectly, hitting the actor in the face, and unfortunately, his eye was impacted. Naturally, it was a cause of alarm, and a doctor was immediately summoned to the set”, a source told the development.

They added, “The shoot had to be wrapped that day as the unit was to shift to Film City the next day. So, while Ajay took a short break as the doctor attended to him, Rohit could do some portions with the on-screen goons. The actor resumed work in a few hours, and the scene was completed that very evening.”

Meanwhile, Singham Again is the latest venture in the cop universe and the third installment of the Singham franchise. Currently, Singham Again is one of the most anticipated movies. Apart from Ajay playing the titular role, Rohit Shetty has also introduced new characters in the movie. Deepika Padukone will be seen as a police officer named Shakti Shety. Whereas Tiger Shroff will essay the role of ACP Satya in Singham Again. Kareena Kapoor Khan is coming back in Singham along with Simmba Ranveer Singh, Sooryavanshi aka Akshay Kumar.
