Ajay Devgn: I accept blame for delay of Kajol’s next film

Bollywood’s Singham Ajay Devgn and his chirpy wife Kajol were recently in news for their upcoming film. The actor was to produce a film starring his talented wife in it. Kajol at present is busy with Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale opposite Shah Rukh Khan.

It was rumored that Kajol will soon start work on her husband’s home production, immediately on completing Dilwale. But looks like something has undergone a change now. The home production has been put on a back burner by Ajay Devgn for now.

Ajay Devgn said, “I am just waiting for her shooting for Dilwale to get over this month. Now we are not doing the film with Ram Madhvani or Ashwni Dhir. I will reveal the director’s name later.”

Ajay further added, “It’s completely different. What happened was my fault. Without hearing the complete and final draft, I went ahead and started the pre-production which cost me quite a lot. I did so, as the shooting was going to start just 10 days later. When I heard the final draft, I was not happy. I realised that this wasn’t going to work at all. We had a discussion and then I had to take a call whether to lose all that money we’d spent or go ahead with the film even though we are not happy with it. We decided not to take chances because we felt the film would not work in that form. So I stopped the film.”
