Ajay Devgn looks divine in the first poster of Sidharth Malhotra, Rakul Preet Singh co-starrer Thank God

Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh teamed up for the first time in the 2019 romcom De De Pyaar De. The film emerged as a commercial success and changed the course of the actress’ career completely. They again came together for this year’s release Runway 24 and last year, the news came out that the duo was reuniting for Indra Kumar’s next, which also stars Sidharth Malhotra, marking another reunion for Rakul after she and Sidharth appeared together in Aiyyary. The double reunion project is titled Thank God, and today the makers unveiled the first poster of the film.

The first poster of Thank God introduces Ajay Devgn as God Chitragupt and the actor looks quite spectacular in his long bearded look, with sunglasses. Dressed in a black suit and sitting on a divine throne, Ajay sure do looks dapper, and has created quite an intrigue around the film and his character. Introducing the poster, the actor wrote on Instagram, “This Diwali, Chitragupt is coming to play the game of life with you and your family! (sic)”

The poster also reveals that the film’s trailer will be released tomorrow with the film eyeing a Diwali release this year on October 25. While the film was initially was touted as a slice-of-life comedy, the makers as well as the actors have repeatedly said that its genre is something quite different that the audience will get to experience only after watching the film.

Thank God, starring Ajay, Sidharth and Rakul, is directed by Indra Kumar and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, Sunir Kheterpal, Deepak Mukut, Indra Kumar, Anand Pandit and Markand Adhikari.
