Ajay Devgn quips Titanic was offered to him before Leonardo DiCaprio, but there’s a catch

Bollywood’s Singham Ajay Devgn was recently seen on The Kapil Sharma Show promoting his film Bholaa. He was joined by his co-stars Tabu and Deepak Dobriyal. The Drishyam 2 star who is known for his sense of humour left the viewers in splits with his tongue-in-cheek comments.

Ajay Devgn was offered Titanic

In a segment on the show, Kapil Sharma is seen reading some rumours about the actors. He said that Titanic was first offered to the Runway 34 star, but Ajay Devgn had a demand. To which the actor quipped, “Yes they had written to me but until the letter found me, Titanic had already sunk.”

Kapil Sharma next asked Ajay Devgn, “You are working in this industry for so many years, we have never heard any controversy about him. Are you innocent or are you not getting caught?”

To which the Singham star quipped, “Whatever I know, I have learnt from you.”

Ajay Devgn on RRR Oscar win

This is not the first time that Ajay Devgn’s comments left the internet in splits. Earlier on RRR’s Oscar win for Naatu Naatu song, the Bhuj star ha said, “RRR ko Oscar jo mila hai woh meri wajha se mila hai.” When Kapil asked him how, he said “Agar maine uss gaane mein nacch liya hota toh kya hota?”

For the unversed Ajay Devgn was also a part of Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer RRR. He had an important cameo in the SS Rajamouli directorial.

On the work front, Ajay Devgn after his blockbuster hit Drishyam 2 is currently seen in Bholaa. The movie was released in theatres on March 28. It also features Tabu, Sanjay Mishra, Gajraj Rao and Vineet Kumar in pivotal roles. 

He will next be seen in the sports drama Maidaan and the actor will be playing the role of legendary football coach Syed Abdul Rahim.  ‘Maidaan’ also features Priyamani, Gajraj Rao and Bengali actor Rudranil Ghosh in pivotal roles. The movie will be released worldwide in theatres on June 23, 2023.
