Ajay Devgn commends Amitabh Bachchan on his enthusiasm as he recalls him getting injured on Major Saab sets during Bholaa trailer launch

On Monday morning, Amitabh Bachchan informed about recently getting injured on Project K sets in Hyderabad. Ajay Devgn dropped the trailer of his upcoming actioner Bholaa on Monday as well, and during the launch event, he opened up on Amitabh Bachchan and safety precautions taken on sets today.

The actor was mentioned the incident with Amitabh Bachchan and asked about the precautions he took on Bholaa. Talking about it, he said, “It is like our job is difficult and easy also now. At that point of time when Mr Bachchan used to do action. there were no mattresses, there were no safety measures, there were no cables. We injure every part of our body. Mr Bachchan has done shots that you can’t even imagine.”

Ajay reveals the time Big B got injured on Major Saab

Ajay went on to recall the time Big B got injured on the sets of Major Saab. He shared, “I remember him getting injured while doing Major Saab. He insisted he will jump from some thirty feet. It was three floors high, and I told him let’s not do this shot. I mean we can work it out with duplicates. We both were supposed to jump and he insisted we’ll do it. We had an injury in that film also. So it’s that enthusiasm.”

Ajay on safety precautions taken on sets today

Discussing the safety precautions in today’s time, he said, “Now I’d say things are much easier. There are cables. There are safety precautions. There is an ambulance and doctors on set. There are paddings and lots of stuff. So, it’s become relatively much easier. Thank God, while we are aging, things are getting easier also.”

Amitabh Bachchan’s injury

Through his blog, Mr Bachchan shared an update about his injury on Project K sets recently. He wrote, “In Hyderabad at the shoot for Project K, during an action shot, I have got injured – rib cartilage popped broke and muscle tear to the right rib cage, canceled shoot, did Doctor consult and scan by CT at the AIG Hospital in Hyderabad and flown back home. Strapping has been done and rest been advocated. Yes painful. On movement and breathing, will take some weeks they say before some normalisation will occur. Some medication is on also for pain.”

He also revealed that all future work on Project K has been ‘suspended’ and ‘canceled’ for now, until he is fully healed and better. He also informed that he is resting at his house Jalsa presently. Project K also features Prabhas and Deepika Padukone and the film will release pan-India on January 12, 2024.

As for Ajay, the actor dropped the action-packed trailer of Bholaa today. The film also features Tabu and has also been directed by Ajay, It will release theatrically on March 30, 2023.
