Ajay Devgn announces new release dates of ‘Total Dhamaal’ and ‘De De Pyaar De’

Ajay Devgn has a long list of movies in his kitty for next year among which are ‘Total Dhamaal’ and ‘De De Pyaar De’. The former is the third instalment of the ‘Dhamaal’ franchise. The third instalment stars Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit and Jaaved Jafferi. Anil and Madhuri will be reuniting after 20 years with this movie. Whereas ‘De De Pyaar De’ is a romantic-comedy which is touted as the most rib-tickler movies of Ajay’s career. The movie also stars Tabu and Rakul Preet. Today the actor has announced the new release date of both the movies.

Taking to Twitter the ‘Singham’ actor said, “December date with you’ll looks challenging, but still keeping my Feb date!Due to extensive VFX work, Total Dhamaal will now release on 22nd Feb and De De Pyaar De moves to 26th April.”

‘Total Dhamaal’ was initially slated to release on Diwali this year. Then the makers pushed it to December 7 and now it is postponed to next year.

Same with ‘De De Pyaar De’, the film was earlier slated to release on February 22, 2019. It seems makers don’t want to clash with mega movies that are releasing this year. Releasing these movies next year will help them garner better response at the Box Office.
