Ajay Devgn in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Simmba’. Here are the details of his role

Rohit Shetty‘s action-entertainer ‘Simmba’ is hitting the screens on December 28. It stars the powerhouse actor Ranveer Singh who is playing the character of Sangram Bhalerao. The movie has been creating lots of buzz for all the right reasons. The movie also marks the debut of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan. Earlier there was news that Ajay Devgn might play a cameo in the flick and as per the latest buzz, the actor is finally appearing in the movie.

A source close to Bollywood Life told that Ajay will be seen as Inspector Bajirao Singham and there will be a face-off between both-Ranveer and Ajay’s characters. The source said, “It will be fun to see the two cops together. They are different as chalk and cheese with their temper being the only common factor. Ajay’s Singham character is a rage with fans and is a blockbuster addition to the film.”

In an interview with PTI Ranveer once shared his experience working with Rohit Shetty, “It was a blast working with Rohit and the rest of the cast. I did feel a slight pressure to deliver but that was just me wanting to ace my first film as a masala hero with Rohit. Getting a chance to work with Rohit Shetty who is the king of masala movies is a huge deal for me. I find it very challenging. You have to perform so many things – there is comedy, action, drama- everything together.”
