Actor Ajay Devgn remembers his late father Veeru Devgan on his birth anniversary by sharing a heartfelt post for him. To mark his father’s 88th birth anniversary, he took to his Instagram account and dropped a smiling picture of his father Veeru. Sharing the picture with his fans, Ajay mentioned he could never beat his smile as he wrote, “I could never beat his smile… Happy Birthday Papa.”
Ajay Devgn lost his father Veeru Devgan who was a renowned action cinematographer-director-actor on May 27, 2019. His father, Veeru Devgan had launched him through the film, Phool Aur Kaante in the ’90s. His iconic bike split scene is not only still remembered by all but is considered to be one of the iconic scenes in the history of Bollywood.
On June 25, 2021, Ajay remembered his late father, Veeru Devgan and had shared a monochrome picture with him on his birthday. Baring his heart out in the caption, the actor had written a special note for his papa and it could be read as “I miss you every day. More so today. Happy birthday Papa. Life hasn’t been the same since.”

On the work front, Ajay Devgn has recently announced the release date of Drishyam 2 which will be hitting the big screens on November 18. The schedule for the film was recently wrapped and actress Shriya Saran treated us to some amazing photos from the set. In one of the photos, we see her cutting the cake with Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Rajat Kapoor and others.
In the caption, Shriya thanked the crew and did not forget to mention Ajay Devgn. She wrote, “Thank you for the best crew ever. Abhishek Pathakk, you are an amazing director. So happy to have worked with you. Tabu, you are gorgeous and beautiful inside out. Absolutely love you. Ajay Devgn, thank you for being a fantastic actor. Pleasure working with you again. Drishyam 2, Nandani shoot over for me and I miss her.”
